Who We Are

Dr. Potter enjoys connecting with people, spending time in nature and being active in the outdoors with her family. She has personally experienced the wonder and significance of naturopathic medicine in her own health-journey with fatigue, hormone irregularities and environmental exposures, as well as with her son who was born with a congenital heart issue. She is passionate about being able to share her knowledge and experience with others.

Dr. Potter experienced and valued a lifestyle of wellness before becoming a naturopath physician. This came through studying nutrition at UC Berkeley, internships in public health, competing as a gymnast, job as an exercise instructor and working overseas with a holistic community development agency. Her husband came home one day in 2005 telling her she needed to become a naturopath since it was such a good fit for her. At the time Dr. Potter did not know what a naturopath was. She soon learned that the values of naturopathic medicine with doctor as teacher, the amazing healing aspects found in nature, first doing no harm, treating the whole person, treating the cause, and prevention, reflect who she is and how she relates to what is around her. So began her journey that continues today.
